Heart-Centered Meditation is a simple and natural way of orienting to and cultivating a connection with your Spiritual center: your Heart. The Heart is the seat of the Spiritual Self, the Inner Self, the Divine Within. In this practice, we go directly to the Heart, your Heart, and we allow the Heart itself to guide and unfold the meditative experience.
At a time when millions of people are no longer relating to the spiritual and ethical aspects of life through the traditional religions, in the midst of a society consumed with the modern ailments of isolation and existential dread, we need true spiritual direction. Without these centralizing forces, we are easily lost and become consumed with the idea and pursuit of “who we should be,” rather than being consumed with the expression and exploration of who we genuinely are. We need to find a way back to meaning and the love of life.
Living a life connected to yourself, a life lived from your true center, you naturally become more peaceful, clear minded, motivated, alive. There is a wellspring of energy and aliveness that bursts forth, inherently. And as the personal and spiritual barriers dissolve, a life that is the fulfillment of your heart’s desires naturally arises.
The Heart is our nearest and dearest teacher. The Heart harmonizes and blends the spiritual aspects of the self with the mental, emotional and physical aspects of the self. Your Heart is the seat of your true nature, it is a wellspring of health and authenticity. Ever present, ever available.
Cultivating a connection with the Heart is like tending the soil of the garden of life ~ it influences the way everything grows. It is like tapping an intelligence made to support you in navigating your life.
